The Recent Vilathikulam Incident Since the beginning of March 2026, numerous criminal incidents have occurred across Tamil Nadu . In these incidents, four to five minor girls were gang-raped, resulting in hospitalization or death. Over the last few days, the Vilathikulam incident has been highlighted by only a few media outlets; most major media houses have not covered it, allegedly due to influence from DMK party members .
