Protest Surge in Tamil Nadu Over Unfulfilled Election Promises
There are more women protestors who are fighting for their rights, demanding the election promise given by present tamilnadu ruling party, Dmk, but dmk unable to fulfill due to financial constraints.
- Staff nurses protesting to make them in permanent payroll.
- Sanitary workers among whom women protestors are more, demanding the permanent payroll, as of now sanitary work had been taken by the private contractor.
- Teachers, professors fighting for their rights to make them permanent.
- And also government staff demanding old pension schemes.
Government staff demanding old pension schemes will undergo strike on Jan 6,2026.
And women staff nurses demanding permanent job and the place provided for protest was Kelambakkam. Toilets / Rest rooms in protesting place were locked in order to halt the protests.
Unfortunately tamilnadu media is not covering all these core issues which is the sadden part of democratic speech.
