Why political parties like DMK opposing SIR

SIR is the irritating word for Dmk.

In recent anna university sexual assault case, culprit Gnana sekaran uttered the SIR’s involvement. Who’s that SIR still not known. But gnanasekaran convicted in that case.

In similar SIR of election commission which is Special intensive revision (Sir), Dmk opposes because it would delete the bogus voters.

According to election commission’s SIR, each voter should enroll by filling the forms which would come at doorstep, by the special representative appointed by the election commission.

People needs to be present at the house, in many cases both husband and wife gone for work, if house was locked then their name would be deleted from the voter list.(This is the practical difficulty). That election representative visit should be informed by the local ward members to voters in advance.

Because here local ward members are not informing any benefits to the common people that is the basic problem.

This structural reforms needs to be done at ground level by perfectly include the real voters and by deleting the bogus voters.

Tamil people should co-operate this indian goverment’s initiative and should ensure that their name properly included in the list.

As i highlighted earlier political parties feared that bogus voters removal may impact their political future and opposing this election commission’s revision exercise.
