 Happy Ugadi. 

Yugadi is the beginning of Kali Yuga. 

Kali Yuga ends its 5125 year and beginning of 5126 th year today.

Yugadi is considered as the day that denotes the beginning of Kali Yuga and over time it has become the New Year of the Telugu language.

Telugu is considered by many to be a very sweet language. In Telugu, all words end with a vowel like Italian. That is why the English called it the Italian of the East due to the sweetness of this language. An unknown poet in Telugu has said this.

*The sweetness of the Sanskrit, the sweetness of Tamil and the musky fragrance of Kannada are all in one, which is what makes Telugu so special*

யுகாதி திருநாள் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள். 

கலியுகத்தின் தொடக்க நாள் தான் யுகாதி. 

கலியுகம் 5125 முடிந்து 5126 ஆம் ஆண்டு இன்று தொடங்குகிறது.

யுகாதி என்பது கலியுகத்தின் தொடக்க நாளாக கருதப்படுகிறது காலப்போக்கில் அது தெலுங்கு மொழி பேசும் புத்தாண்டாகவே மாறிவிட்டது.

தெலுங்கு மொழி மிகவும் இனிமையான மொழியாகப் பலரால் கருதப்படுகிறது. தெலுங்கில் அனைத்துச் சொற்களும் இத்தாலிய மொழியைப் போல் உயிரெழுத்துடன் முடிவடைகிறது. எனவே தான் இம்மொழியின் இனிமையைக்கருதி ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் இதை கிழக்கின் இத்தாலிய மொழி (Italian of the East) என அழைத்தனர். தெலுங்கில் ஒரு பெயர் அறியப்படாத கவி இவ்வாறு கூறியுள்ளார்.

*வடமொழியின் சக்கரை பாகு, தமிழின் அமிழ்தத்தண்மை கன்னடத்தின் கஸ்தூரி நறுமணம் இவை அனைத்தையும் ஒரு சேர உடையது தான் தித்திக்கும் தெலுங்கு*
